I think https://github.com/awesomeWM/awesome/blob/master/tests/examples/CMakeLists.txt#L17 also needs updating. |
CMake 4.0 requires that projects require 3.5
Many older policies are no longer supported and got removed.
CMake 3.31 requires this keyword when a TARGET is set.

Without newer CMake version packaging fails out of the box.
