Installation

1. Enable Developer Mode in Chrome

1. Open Chrome and navigate to chrome://extensions/.
2. Toggle Developer Mode on (top-right corner).

1. Open Brave and navigate to brave://extensions/.
2. Toggle Developer Mode on (top-right corner).

2. Load the Extension

1. Clone this repository or download the source as a ZIP. You can also download CRX file from google drive.
2. Extract the ZIP and locate the dist folder.
3. In Chrome/Brave, click Load unpacked and select the dist folder.

How To Get Perplexity API Key

1. Login and Setup Payment Method:

   • Go to https://www.perplexity.ai/settings/api
   • Setup Payment method.

2. Buy API Credits:

   • After adding Payment Method, you will see "+ Buy Credits" button.
   • Click the "+ Buy Credits" button and buy $3 (minimum amount required)

3. Generate API Key:

   • After buying credit, wait for few minutes and reload the page.
   • Then you will see $3 credit and "Generate" button under "API Keys" section active
   • Click the "Generate" button and get your API key

Usage

1. Set Your API Key:

   • Click on the extension icon in Chrome's toolbar.
   • Enter your Perplexity API key in the popup and click Save.

2. Regenerate Wikipedia Articles:

   • Visit any Wikipedia page.
   • Click the "Re-generate with Perplexity" button added by the extension.
