Hi @sylr,

Thank you for taking the time to contribute this dependency upgrade PR, and I sincerely apologize for the extremely long delay in responding to this.

After reviewing the current state of the codebase, I need to close this PR as it has become outdated. The project has undergone significant changes since February
2024, including:

• Upgrading to Go 1.24
• Adding new dependencies that weren't present when you created this PR
• Various architectural changes that would require a fresh approach to dependency management

While dependency updates are always appreciated, at this point it would be better to create a fresh PR if you're still interested in contributing dependency
updates, as the conflicts and changes would be too substantial to resolve in this PR.

Again, I apologize for not getting to this sooner, and thank you for your contribution to the project. Your effort to keep the dependencies up to date is valuable,
and I'm sorry we weren't able to merge this work.
