Ignite Connectivity Platform is developed to offer IOT solution providers and distributors a solution to manage their cellular service offerings. A customer on the Ignite Connectivity Platform can purchase cellular connectivity and offer that to its subscribers, manage all subscribers life cycles, organize the subscriber base at multiple levels, monitor and manage cost of the services. This document serves as the user guide of the platform's user interface.
A user on the platform must be first authenticated to access the platform. Please consult with your Ignite point of contact for your login credentials.
Upon successful log in, a user should see the following landing page.
Two cards are displayed here. The primary Account Summary card displays a snapshot of the Customer Account this user belongs to. In this example, the Customer Account is for a comapny called IgniteIT.
A user can use the Search page to search for a subscriber by phone number, or a SIM card by SIM number, or device by IMEI. A SIM card can be brand new - in this case the platform will offer to activate it; or the card can be currently in use, or suspended, or deactivated, etc.
Once a valid subscriber line is found by SIM number or phone number, a summary page is displayed for this line. If this line has recent usage, then a snapshot of usage is also displayed. And if there is any location info is available, a map of the device's approximate location is displayed as well.
If a user wishes to change any configuration on a give line, she may use the Provision Services button to navigate to the Provision Services page to make changes.
Under the Line Details box title line, 3 links are available to query the line's recent voice, sms, and data usage history. Notice all usage history are categorized by the service type such as on-net, domestic roaming, and international roaming, as the different types may have different charging rates associated with.
All usage history are recorded for billing purpose only. There is absolutely no subscriber private data ever being recorded or stored.
The following screen shows a given line's recent data usage history. Notice here a data session is captured with the timestamp, device IMEI (sometimes this value is not reliable), the target IP address the device tried to communicate with, and traffic volume counted in Byte.
The following screen shows a given line's recent voice usage history. Notice here a voice call is captured with the timestamp, the other calling party's number, the direction of the call (incoming or outgoing), and the number of minutes called (rounded up).
The following screen shows a given line's recent SMS usage history. Notice here a SMS message is captured with the time stamp, and the other messaging party's number, the direction of the SMS (incoming or out going).
As described above, this page is where a user can change configurations for a given line. As the screen below shows, this line has Block-Tether checked, meaning this line is not allowed to be used in a mobile hotspot; it has United States Roamig enabled, meaning this line is allowed to roam domestically. It has a on-net data bucket Data Pass of 4.883 GB. This is an active line, and it is associated with an entity called IgniteIT. The active retail plan for this line is set to Generic IOT Plan.
The Dashboard page displays a collection of plots and tables to highlight the Customer Account's performance. Each Customer Account may have different configuraitons as what plots and tables are included. Please consult with your Ignite point of contact for details. The following screen shows some examples of plots and tables could be included.
This is where administration tasks are available. For example, a user may wish to upload a CSV file to have multiple SIM cards activated; or she may wish to review the Customer Account's charging rates, etc.
This is a customizable page where a Customer Account may choose to use Ignite COnnectivity Platform to manage its device portfolio and inventory.
