this was from me, owner of beacondb.net - some countries have been blocking BeaconDB and this data would be really helpful in figuring out where it is blocked (and maybe even why)

Hi @joelkoen! thanks for suggestion! are there any specific countries you are interested in? If that's the case, I would suggest adding the URL to the relevant country-specific lists rather than to the global one

I only have an idea of where BeaconDB is blocked based on feedback from users, and I would greatly appreciate data being collected globally if that is possible. This project isn't specific to one country and has users from all around the world.

BeaconDB appears to currently be blocked in Russia and Azerbaijan, and was previously blocked in China too.

Is there a specific reason you suggest using country-specific lists?

Also, I wasn't sure if the Hacking Tools category was the right choice - I only chose that because BeaconDB aims to improve privacy.

OpenStreetMap is in search engines, is that a better category to use? BeaconDB allows devices to search for their location using nearby WiFi access points.
