How to use this in a template?

I must admit I am a newbie to obsidian. I can call ICS: Import events and my calendar events import fine on my daily note. How can I use this with templater, so when I use it as a daily note template it automatically imports the events? I try making a template with the templater code but when the daily note is created the events do not render, it just shows the code.

Ah nvm I just needed to turn on Trigger Templater on new file creation.
