What is Maiat Protocol?

Maiat Protocol is a trust infrastructure layer for AI agents. It provides x402-gated trust scoring and gate verdicts for any EVM address — helping agents verify counterparties before transacting.

x402 Integration

  • Endpoint: GET https://maiat-protocol.vercel.app/api/v1/trust-gate?agent=0x...
  • Price: $0.02 USDC per check
  • Network: Base mainnet (eip155:8453)
  • Implementation: Uses @x402/next withX402 wrapper (v2.5.0)

Use Case

AI agents can call /api/v1/trust-gate before any transaction to get a trust verdict (proceed / caution / block) for a counterparty address. Currently integrated in the Virtuals ACP ecosystem as a pre-swap trust layer.
