I've set up i18n using @leonekmi work.
Users are now able to easily add their translation to the project using Phraseapp
https://phraseapp.com/accounts/physikonline/projects/polr (I think you have to request rights to edit translations)
Once the PR is accepted, I'd be happy to change the Phraseapp settings to the original repo and to transfer the rights to @cydrobolt
