❔ About

MicroK8s is a good way to run a local k8s cluster, so I thought it would be useful to add it to endoflife.date, next to endoflife.date/kubernetes.

πŸ€” Questions

For now, I've only added the release "1", not sure if I should clone the way eols are defined like on :

endoflife.date/kubernetes

Please let me knwo if you also find interesting to add microk8s to `endoflife.date/

I've made some changes based on what little info I could gather. In particular:

  • canonical has a 12 yr lts guarantee, but it is unclear who is eligible for it
  • microk8s backport/support policy is unclear.
  • The only piece of info that we have is the 1w delay in release from upstream.

However, https://snapcraft.io/microk8s lists multiple /stable releases, so I don't think the current implementation of only showing a single 1 release cycle is supported is correct. We should be listing all releases that are still following upstream k8s releases, which seems to be 1.32 (and probably 1.33).

Hi @captn3m0 :

We should be listing all releases that are still following upstream k8s releases, which seems to be 1.32 (and probably 1.33).

I think that it's the best possible way to achieve it too πŸ™
