Could you also add some instructions about how to perform common tasks please? E.g., how to add new citations (#17), how to add new packages (this comes from our r-universe, etc.
It may be worth asking the rest of the community what they might want to do from 2026 onwards (in terms of routine actions, new features are not in scope for this) but are unsure how to do.
If you prefer, this could be done in a dedicated CONTRIBUTING.md document but then it would be good to link it from the README
