FFEWS is a project undertaken by Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET).
This is the front-end website of the project developed solely using HTML, JavaScript and Google KML. No server side scripting is used to generate HTML file.
A number of Opensource and Free tools have been used for generating the results and images. The forecast is performed using coupled WRF and WRF-Hydro system driven by Global Forecasting System (GFS) initialization. The results has been generated by NCAR Command Language (NCL) and R. The system is controlled by Bash in realtime and hosted using Git.
