It was a quick solution written with ChatGPT 5.3 Codex.
It solves one problem I needed: the ability to add subgroups inside groups, and subgroups inside subgroups. Where it used to be group="string", there is now also an option to write group=["string", "string"].
I’m not sure if I broke something, but so far it has worked as expected for my specific use case.
In the preview_grid folder there’s a small project with an example of how to use it, and a bit of documentation.
I’m not expecting this pull request to be accepted, but maybe you’ll find the idea useful and consider adding it in the future.
