Welcome to v4! This is the FIRST release of Natsumi for Firefox and forks excluding Zen.

Natsumi v4 "Starlight" is finally here, bringing support to Firefox and its forks and adding new features and design improvements!

• Added a new theming engine which adds support for a wide range of theming options (including gradients!)
• Added preset colors for the primary color, similar to Zen's (until they removed it in some version
• Added support for custom Firefox themes (so bring your own colors!)

• Added Sine support
• Added tab folders CSS since I don't need to wait until Zen officially supports it anymore
• Redesigned the URL bar and Findbar for a cleaner and more intuitive design
• Redesigned the PiP viewer to make the controls take up less screen real estate

🔧 Fixes and improvements

• Changed icons system to be browser-specific
• Natsumi Pages now uses the preset accent color instead of the default green
• Subtitles popup for Picture-in-picture now uses Haze instead of Glass
• Updated some configs to use string over boolean where possible
• Removed styling for pinned tabs
  • This is due to a technical limitation with how Firefox's pinned vertical tabs work. I will add styling for this later once I have figured out how I want to redesign it.
• Removed Natsumi Gamemode
  • I may reimplement this in a future release. It wasn't on my roadmap because the plan for v4 was to build something as polished as Zen yet personal to me that I can use on other browsers, which is why this was omitted.

Caution

This is the FINAL release of Natsumi for Zen Browser. All future releases will be for Firefox and its forks excluding Zen.

After a long break, Natsumi 3.1.0 is here! (yes I still have exams but I decided to just publish the progress I've made before my break)

🚀 New features

• Added Natsumi Gamemode! This feature drastically optimizes Zen's looks for the maximum framerates possible.
  • ~6% GPU usage reduction was observed compared to vanilla Zen on M1 MacBook Air.
• Made Linux transparency look a lot better than the vanilla implementation

• Full screen alert now uses Haze instead of Glass
• Started work on a settings page rice
