Import previously generated Map data

Hey, is there a way (if there is we can't seem to figure it out) to import the map data that is visualized in foxglove and can be exported (tho only as a png iirc)?
Or is the only workaround to "explore" the environment from scratch on each restart?

I'm not sure if I understand the issues. The map is autosaved every few seconds and can be loaded in localization mode (SLAM=False). For exploration, you should look for exploration algorithms. I know that the package explore-lite should work with nav2.
