Hardware: LEDs and Buttons

The Wio Node has three LEDs:
- Red.
- Green.
- Blue.
and two buttons:
- Reset.
- Function.
The red LED indicates the reset state, the green LED the charging states and the blue LED the operating modes controlled by the firmware.
LED | Indicator | Description |
---|---|---|
Red | ON | Turns on when the sensor is powered up or when the reset button is pressed. |
Green | ON | Battery is being charged by the power provided by the Micro USB port. In this state the system uses power from the Micro USB port. |
OFF | Battery is fully charged or operating from battery power and there is no Micro USB power present. | |
BLINKING | There is no battery present but the system is powered by the Micro USB port. | |
Blue | ON | In configuration mode. |
BLINKING | In error state. Error occurred during normal operation. |

The following table describes the functionalities of the buttons.
Button Operation | Result |
---|---|
Click the RESET button. | Reset. |
Double click the RESET button while holding the FUNCTION button. | Flashing mode. |
Double click the RESET button, then press and hold the FUNCTION button until the blue LED turns on. | Configuration mode. |
