  1. Added Windows build flag to enable mac compilation 

    Added a Windows build flag to workaround_windows.go as it attempts to
make Windows-specific cgo calls. This previously prevented compilation
on MacOS/Darwin (I'd assume Linux as well), but is now resolved.
