Hi there! My name is Julio Cesar Moreira Filho, but I usually go by Julio Moreira (not a big fan of the “Cesar” 😅). I'm 26 years old, originally from Miguel Pereira – RJ, Brazil, and currently living in Araruama – RJ, looking for new opportunities to grow both personally and professionally.
I'm a calm, curious, and determined person. When something catches my interest, I dive in headfirst — I can spend hours, days, or even weeks until I fully understand it or get it done. I like doing things the right way, I value organization and responsibility, and I’m constantly driven by the desire to learn and evolve. Curiosity and persistence are definitely some of my biggest strengths.
My first contact with technology was as a kid, playing games on my brother's computer. That fascination quickly turned into a desire to understand what happens “behind the scenes.” I started experimenting with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript on my own, even automating small tasks using Python — a language that amazed me with its simplicity and power.
In 2019, I started my Software Engineering degree, where I got my first structured exposure to programming. I had to pause my studies for personal reasons, but now in 2025, I’m back in the 3rd semester — with a clear goal and even more passion for tech.
I’m currently diving deep into web development and software engineering through college, online courses, and personal projects. Some of the main programs I'm enrolled in:
Software Engineering (3rd semester) at Universidade de Vassouras – Campus Saquarema - 🔄 WiP
Full Stack Web Developer Bootcamp – HTML, CSS, JS, Node.js, React, Next.js, Tailwind, Docker, Git, TypeScript, Scrum, Figma, and more. - 🔄 WiP
Santander Bootcamp (via DIO) – Chose the Front-End track. - 🔄 WiP
English course (EnglishBay) – Focused on technical reading and conversation. - 🔄 WiP
CS50 Web Programming (Harvard) – Ongoing. - 🔄 WiP
Business Administration degree (UNOPAR) – Currently in the 5th semester (online). - 🔄 WiP
My biggest professional goal is to land my first opportunity as a developer and gain more real-world experience. I want to build meaningful projects and help people through technology. I’m passionate about learning and turning ideas into real solutions — and I believe I’m on the right path.
