Data Collection

By using the Kaguya bot, you agree to let us collect the following information in order to provide our service to the public. Any data stored is private and will not be shared with anyone outside of the Kaguya development team.

Kaguya collects data about it's users and servers in order to function properly as a general purpose Discord bot. All of the data stored here is standard across any Discord bot with a database.

Here is what we store:

• Your Discord user ID
• Any Discord server ID the bot has ever been connected to.
• How many servers the bot is in
• What admin actions you have made with Kaguya (kicking, banning, muting, shadowbanning)
  • This includes the User ID of the moderator and the user who was actioned
• Your antiraid preferences, if configured
• Your auto assigned roles, if configured
• Any channel IDs that you have blacklisted
• Any server IDs or user IDs that the Kaguya administration has manually or automatically blacklisted from our services
• Any favorited tracks you have
• Any words or phrases you have filtered in your server
• Any giveaways you have created in your server
• Any logging preferences, if configured
• If you have purchased / redeemed a Premium Key, your discord user ID and the server ID in which it was redeemed.
• Any reminders you have, if set
• A history of all commands you have used and the server you used them in
• Any reputation that you have been given or that you have given to another user
• Any server-specific experience you have. Experience is earned via typing in chat.
• A history of all upvotes you have made on top.gg
• Any quotes that have been created by you and which server you have created them in. Quotes are manually created via the $quote feature.
• A history of what you have "gambled", points wise. i.e. if you play a game and lose points, a record of that is stored.
• Any role rewards that are configured in a server

What we do NOT store:

• Any history of your chat messages outside of direct command invocations.
• Your Discord username(s) (i.e. Stage#0001)
• Your server name(s)

Kaguya adheres to all API policies respecting user data and privacy. You can read about that here. If you wish to delete your data, please contact [email protected] and write your User ID in the email and request a deletion / blacklist. You can also do this yourself through the (upcoming) self-deletion / blacklist feature. Blacklisted users will not have their data stored. Note: Blacklisting yourself will delete ALL of your Kaguya data (points, exp, etc.) and it will not be recovered. It will automatically invalidate any Premium purchase you have made without refund. Blacklisted users will not be able to interact with Kaguya in any way (commands or otherwise). If requesting a deletion and blacklist, we will still have to store your User ID in order for the program to know not to store any more of the above information about you.
