I copied this confidence_penalty implementation for use in another (unrelated) model and ran into issues on rare occasions, where trying to take the log of zero yields a loss of NaN and breaks training.
BTW, thanks for the great repo. It's been really informative to pick apart the code and read the papers linked in the comments that correspond to the implementation. Great work!
