I have added the configuration for producing gen level plots to be used in the signal modeling section of the AN.
The samples_medmass.py file as it is in this configuration should also be used as a template for what concerns the signals for the treatment of S, SBI and B in the nominal configuration files. Mind in particular the following:

  • the ggWW is taken from the GluGluWWToLNuQQ sample. One could also reweight a signal sample, but I think this way one has more statistics.
  • the qqWWqq sample was slightly changed in two ways:
    1. the macro to select on mjj > 100 was changes, as the old one did not assume the hadronic decays of the W (it worked for the dileptonic). Now a mjj_max macro was added.
    2. it now has only W+W- in it (which is I believe the correct thing to do)
  • the WW sample now contains the inclusive WW (and is ortogonal to qqWWqq), the same sign WW+2 jets
  • For the signal I have put in the configuration a lot of subsamples, but only B, SBI ans S are actually needed, i.e. .'GGH_'+MX+model_name, 'GGHINT_'+MX+model_name, 'GGHSBI_'+MX+model_name. (same for QQH*) The other ones are:
    • GGHINT_H_'+MX+model_name is the interference between the signal and the SM higgs
    • 'GGHINT_B_'+MX+model_name is the interference between the signal and the SM background
    • 'GGH_HSM_'+MX+model_name is the signal reweighted to SM Higgs. This plays a role in SBI as well, as it is part of B. Note that one cannot (I believe) use the on shell nominal ggH@125 sample to model the SM Higgs because that one does not have an off-shell part. So I resorted to reweight the 500 GeV signal to H as part of B in SBI
    • 'GGH_B_'+MX+model_name is the signal reweighted to B. This is just for cross check

@lviliani , @bardellig please check/ask

This requires latinos/LatinoAnalysis#272 on the signal samples.
