Start isolating the "builders" (
RangedBuilderandTreeBuilder) from theLayoutContext. The idea is that eventually (possibly as part of this PR) the functionality of theLayoutContextcould be sufficiently encapsulated that it could be exposed publicly, allowing for custom "builders" (and optionally the existing builders could be split into separate crates).
