New version 2.99993

21 Aug 20:15

A new MAUD version (2.99993) is available in the releases section.
Added export in the separated plot window (and the phase editing tools menu) to export data for pdfget3(x,n) PDF plotting or post processing.
Reworked the dynamical correction/extinction models in Maud to have them as a plugin like the rest. So the electron diffraction dynamical 2 beams approximation is now a plugin (extinction models are selected in the phase editing window under advanced models). Added the Sabine extinction models for Neutrons/X-rays. This is the same model used in GSAS (see Sabine, Von Dreele et Jorgensen. Acta Cryst. 1988, A44, 374-379).
Version 2.99992 was never released as it was developed for EPSC4 integration + some bugs corrections. Is basically working but it needs more coding and will be fully functional in the next release hopefully.
See the video link (YouTube MaudProgram channel) for a video about the last features.

A new MAUD version (2.99991) is available in the releases section.
The sample displacement x is working now to correct an error in transmission for inclined flat images calibration.
Added the preference "sumSpectra.meanIntensity", when true and summing spectra it saves the mean intensity, otherwise the pure sum.
In imageJ there is a new plugin to sum images by rules or all.
Texture now works for different wavelengths and different sample parts.
Corrected a bug causing a problem for calibration of transmission/reflectio images with omega 0 and chi 90.

A new MAUD version (2.9999) is available in the releases section.

The instrument INES is now supported for the Hippo wizard. Use Mantid to export a GSAS instrument file (.prm) and the data in GSAS format (multiple banks and patterns supported). In the Hippo wizard load the instrument parameter file and then the GSAS datafiles. In the next panel select the banks you want to use and the range in d if you want to use only a restricted one. You can change it later also. Corrected a problem loading some CIF with C1/C-1 space groups.

A new MAUD version (2.9998) is available in the releases section.
Fixed a bug introduced in version 2.9997 affecting CIF importing of structures.
If the CIF structure file contains atom sites with no specification of the atom element type it enter an infinite loop and the atom type remain unspecified.
So, an analysis file with such unspecified type, create again the loop on loading. The phase should be removed and the CIF reloaded with the new version.

Fixed a bug with the "Loading Data ..." message never going away,
Improved the Marquard Least Squares algorithm to reduce the number of Cholesky negative diagonal errors and improving the minimization.
Improved the bad pixel mask for importing images (TIFF).
Added sample Y error to the inclined flat reflection images calibration (strangely was left out before).
Added Ga Kalpha(1,2) radiation to the standard X-ray tubes.

Modified the Hippo Wizard by adding some new options for the background. In the parameters list window you can now select to view only parameters that are refinable. Modified also the iterations output to avoid listing parameter values each iteration.

Unzip the files and place the program where you like. Double click the Maud.bat to start on Windows, use the Maud.sh to start the program on Linux. On Mac you get a dmg that you can mount by double clicking on it. Inside you get a Maud.app, copy it to your preferred location. If, when you start it, it says that it cannot be run, open your System Setting of MacOS, go to privacy and security, first you have to enable app not only from the App Store to run, but also from developers, if it is already, just click you want to run the program anyway. Then try to run again the program. If you had to enable from developers, you have to repeat it again.
