Summary

  • Modestly improves build times in most circumstances by removing test-utils from the workspace.
  • Fixes some of the metadata corruption issues that occur when going between normal compilation (running the rest test suite e.g. scripts/test-program) vs Solana-land (running anchor test). test-utils still suffers from metadata corruption but this should somewhat reduce the amount of time spent doing anchor clean.
  • make transfer hook dependency optional and feature-gated
  • clean up dev-dependency alias
