Is it true to say that Huawei VRP's display interface includes all the information that the brief version does (and then some)?

The Huawei docs give me the impression that I hint/ask about above.

If there's something not available from display interface then maybe an option is to go for display ip interface, but let's avoid the extra maintenance of the brief commands.

Yes, that's correct — Huawei VRP's display interface includes all the information shown in the display interface brief, and much more.

Therefore, we can rely solely on display interface without needing brief.

If necessary for detailed IP-level information, we can separately use display ip interface, but this is usually not required for basic interface status checks.

Agreed on avoiding extra maintenance overhead by skipping the brief command.

I'm going to close this PR given our conversation above that we'll use the non-brief template to parse for the same data (and more) that the "brief" template would have provided.
