Thanks for the patch @madisoth - quickly looking through the ME code, I don't see a reason why echo_idx should be an integer rather than a string. Perhaps the best solution would be:

• Remove the type conversion when reading in parser arguments

  nibabies/nibabies/cli/parser.py

  type=int,

• Add int to the listify function (outside the scope of this PR, I can do this)
