This release includes numerous bug fixes and features.

There is a new top-level directory "containers" that replaces the previous directory "dockerfiles". This allows you to run Octave Online Server with minimal setup. Please read containers/README.md for more information.

The front server code has been overhauled. It is updated to TypeScript 1.7 and the latest versions of dependencies for better security and faster performance.

Other notable changes:

  • GNU Octave updated to 5.1.90
  • The "docker" mode for the back server has been removed. Instead, use the new docker-compose configuration.
  • New admin panel
