<laugh> probably need to move this directory over to the PRRTE repo or else it will never be maintained. I see several notes in this file that are flagged to my attention using my name - something people really should NOT be doing, but setting that aside those notes will never be seen over here.

I'll put it on my "to-do" list to perform the migration. You are welcome to retarget this once the migration is completed.

Port the "launching-apps" section from the OMPI docs over
to PRRTE since it specifically deals with prterun usage.
Add some updates about gridengine support courtesy of
open-mpi/ompi#13450.

I've ported this section, including this contribution, over to PRRTE: openpmix/prrte#2300. I have no idea if/when this will appear in an OMPI distribution.
