I thought kea used a versioning scheme similar to gnome.

Please remove rosysong from the maintainer line, as he has not committed anything (to any package) since 2019...

You're correct; the 3.1 branch is a development branch. (See the release notes) If there's a published timeline for the next major stable release after 3.1, we could consider adding 3.1 now as it may let us get a head start on transitioning to the new stable version, but otherwise we should probably stick with 3.0.2 as the latest stable version.

Welp, it'd be good to have stable for when 25/26 branch happens.

The boost system dependency got sorted out upstream and we can drop
the patch.
