I've been using the
ROS_PACKAGE_PATH
setting in the desktop app to provide a location to read URDFs and meshes from, but now I'm trying to switch to using the environment variable instead of the setting. I can confirm that the variable is set withecho $ROS_PACKAGE_PATH
, and theROS_PACKAGE_PATH
setting shows the value of the environment variable as grayed-out "default" text, but when I try to actually visualize a bag it can't find the meshes. I know the path is correct because it does find the meshes if I just type the exact same path into the setting field.On Ubuntu 20.04, foxglove studio version 2.12.1
