This script is broken on modern servers: python2 is no more, and SimpleHTTPServer and BaseHTTPServer have been merged into standard http.server module. Furthermore, BaseHTTPRequestHandler's write() function no longer accepts strings, only "bytes-like" objects. Tested on Ubuntu 22.04 with Python 3.10 and PXC 8.4.
