The Makefile references an older version of OpenCV, while OpenCV 4 is expected by newer distributions like Debian 11. I have also turned on OpenCV by default in the Makefile.
image_opencv.cpp needed some extra includes and a change of IplImage to IplImage ipl = cvIplImage(m);
