Currently Play1 prescribes Hibernate 5.6 which has a upper bound on JDK17 or 18 iirc. Issue #1484 concerns the upgrade of Hibernate. In RePlay I have implemented the upgrade. |

This update requires bumping the minimum supported JVM version to 17, since the artifact is compiled using it.
