Please remove the flv conversion and give settings in admin area to change the output file format. I am expecting this in the next release of izap videos. That would be great.....

Currently flv converted files are only by passing conversion process. Does that make sense, if we provide an option in admin where user can put extensions to be skipped from conversion. In that case, you would be able to put extensions like 'flv, mpg, mp4' etc.

Hi! this pugin is good but I am having some issues with it. When a user or an admin clicks" Edit" on an uploaded file
Everything opens fine on edit page... then, when a owner of the video or admin clicks on save, 3 duplicated of the same video are shown on the activity page. and if one tries to delete one of the duplicates, the whole video is deleted from the site. Here is an example: Here is a video uploaded by one user and then edited by an admin: http://www.twizanex.com/videos/all/ and now here is how it is shown on the activity page: http://www.twizanex.com/activity Any idea why this is happening?

@TomOndiba I'll see this. It looks like 3 instances of river entry been triggered while updating. Might be bug. Thank to post here. I'll see this. Most probably will be delivered by this sunday if there is any such bug.

@ tarunjangra, Thanks for your concern. Another issue that I forgot to report is that if a video fails to upload for any reason due to wrong file extension or file size, the activity page pick the thumb image of the failed video upload and updates it on the activity.

Another question just for my knowledge- why is it that the views on the video on elgg site does not update the video views on YouTube views?

If these issues can be fixed, this plugin looks to be the best alternative for any video plugin out there for elgg.

Thanks.

@TomOndiba Currently, we didn't build this kind of feature. We can add it in our pipeline and will consider this feature in future.

@monika-izap Original issue was related to FLV conversion process. And there is nothing to implement. But as community has suggested more ideas. So if there is anything which is not related to this bug. Then i suggest you to close this bug. And add new issues as a feature request.
