In the performance load menu, the current Bank can be changed by pressing the switch and turning the knob left or right.

@soyersoyer, thank you very much. I've been waiting for a feature like this for a long time. A quick bank switch is now possible without any problems. :-)
But which version are your changes based on? These crackles appear again when editing with Dexed. #930

I like this feature also. :)
This is on the latest main.
Could you try #947? This calls a sysex handilng function less often, perhaps reducing the crackling.

With version #947 there are no crackles when editing 👍

If you could combine these two versions (#947 & #948), I would test it extensively. :-)

This has been merged. So I rebased the #947 onto main, you can test it :)

@Banana71 and since both now have been merged to main, please test the latest Continuous Build which now should contain both improvements.

@soyersoyer, as usual, thank you very much! 👍

Why was the data structure changed? If I copy the files directly as in the ZIP file, it doesn't work. MiniDexed only starts again when I copy the contents of the boot folder to the root directory. Did I miss something?

Structure

I really like the quick access to the banks.

What do you think of the following idea?

  • Alternative "Start Menu"
MiniDexed normally starts in the "TG1" menu item. I would like to have the option to start MiniDexed in the "Performance - Load" menu item.

Example:

minidexed.ini

#StartMenu, first menu after startup ( 1=TG1; 2=Performance - Load; 3=Master volume )
StartMenu=1

It seems that boot.zip is extracted to the wrong location. But it has already been fixed in the circle, so it wouldn't be necessary.

I created a PR #954.

Alternative "Start Menu"

Good idea, I think the MiniDexed could simply start from Performance - Load, it does not need to be adjustable.
