I hope you are doing well.
This issue r-lib/cpp11#423 led me to use cpp4r for my local copy of RPostgres, as it implemented multiple fixes to cpp11 that I proposed a while ago and were not implemented.
I did "ctrl+f" and replaced "cpp11" with "cpp4r" besides fixing a few things to make C++14 with Clang happy, otherwise it gave me some bzzz prtttt messages
