I tested this with a few variations and the info is still valid. Therefore, I propose to remove the warning on this page. While at it, I fixed some typos and then got a little carried away in the last part.
I intentionally left this as two commits so you (or I) could cherry-pick the parts you want to keep. If you want to merge it, it could be squashed if that is your preference.
