Version 2.0 of losoto is a substantial rewriting of the code, changes include:

Operations can now be called directly from python (see here).
Clearer parset file (not backward compatible! See here).
Cleaner and faster H5parm API.
The dependence on lofar specific software is removed.

The structure of the h5parm is the same, therefore the compatibility with h5parm generated with older versions is assured.
