Thank you for preparing this vignette. It is really challenging to obtain weather data without knowing available stations in my city and I have been struggling with finding the stationids for my city. I found the nearest available stations from the following link (https://www.ncei.noaa.gov/pub/data/ghcn/daily/ghcnd-stations.txt). I thought it could be really useful for others while obtaining the weather data for their cities. I should thank the owner of this youtube video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V5Df6vw4-e8).
