It is not possible to directly pass Recharts events and props to RechartTooltip component without using native Recharts’ Tooltip component. This is because Recharts internally manages the events and display logic of tooltips. If you completely replace Recharts’ Tooltip component, you lose that logic.

Summary by CodeRabbit

  • Refactor
    • Updated chart tooltips to consistently use the native tooltip wrapper for improved integration and display.
    • Standardized import statements and formatting for better code consistency.
    • No changes to user-facing functionality or exported component interfaces.

Walkthrough

This set of changes refactors how custom tooltips are integrated with Recharts components. The custom RechartTooltip component is now rendered inside the native Tooltip from Recharts via the content prop, rather than being used directly. Imports and JSX usages are updated accordingly across all affected analytics and contributor chart components.

Changes

Cohort / File(s) Change Summary
RechartTooltip Refactor
src/components/elements/rechart-tooltip.tsx
Refactored RechartTooltip to remove the native Tooltip wrapper and return only the tooltip content; import of Tooltip removed, only TooltipProps remains.
Analytics Chart Tooltip Integration
src/components/features/analytics/analytics-contributor-line-chart.tsx,
src/components/features/analytics/analytics-recent-activity.tsx,
src/components/features/analytics/analytics-top-contributor-bar-chart.tsx
Updated to use the native Recharts Tooltip component, passing RechartTooltip as the content prop. Imports and usages of tooltip components updated accordingly.
Contributor Analytics Refactor
src/components/features/contributor/contributor-analytics.tsx
Reorganized imports for clarity, added missing Tooltip import, and standardized all chart tooltip usages to use <Tooltip content={<RechartTooltip />} />. Minor formatting and JSX attribute quote standardization applied.

Poem

In the garden of charts where tooltips bloom,
Rabbits refactor, sweeping away the gloom.
Now native and custom, together they play,
Hopping through data in a unified way.
With imports aligned and code shining bright,
This patch brings clarity—oh what a delight!
