Collaborative project exploring web socket with Sebastian Royer (@walkingalchemy). This repo contains the front end of the app only. Be sure to visit this repo for the back end: https://github.com/KellyStamps/Mod4Project-Backend.
Chat with other users in real time.
First, ensure that you have the back end up and running: https://github.com/KellyStamps/Mod4Project-Backend
- Clone down to your computer.
- CD into project folder on your computer from your terminal.
- Enter "npm install"
- After installation is complete, enter "npm start"
After installing Janx, log in with a name and a password. Upon log in you will have access to the full site and can create new chatrooms, visit existing chatrooms, and chat in real time with other users.
- Fork it!
- Create your feature branch: git checkout -b my-new-feature
- Commit your changes: git commit -am 'Add some feature'
- Push to the branch: git push origin my-new-feature
- Submit a pull request
