Hi there,
Nice to meet you!
I'm Mads, an open source developer with over a decade's worth of contributions. I live near Seattle, Washington with my wife and three young children.
The work I enjoy most is writing Visual Studio extensions and ASP.NET utilities and websites. Over the years, I've published ~200 Visual Studio extensions - all of them open source on GitHub. I also built and maintain the free Open VSIX Gallery for extenders needing a staging environment for their CI/CD build artifacts.
I've also built some popular ASP.NET sites such as BlogEngine.NET (was hosted on Codeplex) and MiniBlog.Core. Not to mention components such as the Ligarshark Web Optimizer family of products.
But most used of all has to be the JSON Schema Store which is supported by all major development IDEs, including Visual Studio, Android Studio, and IntelliJ.
Being active on GitHub writing code and managing repos takes a lot of time and effort. I'm not always able to fix issues and implementt feature requests, due to life's other priorities. With a sponsorship, it would be able to change my priorities to put more effort into my repos.
