Microsoft does not provide an MSI package for Mark Russinovich's SysInternals Suite. It distributes ZIPs of the binaries, offers a live site, and an MSIX via the Windows Store.
This Visual Studio 2022 project will build an MSI that will install the SysInternals Suite, update the system path, and create program menu shortcuts where appropriate. It's intended for situations where winget (or the Microsoft Store) is not supported (older Server OS, restricted network access, etc), or an MSI package is preferable to MSIX. For most cases, installing the MSIX via the store is preferable, as the utilities would be automatically updated.
This installer is not an official Microsoft release, and the Microsoft corporation is not involved in its development. - Visual Studio 2022
- Download the binaries zip from here.
- Extract its contents into the "harvest/x64" folder underneath the solution folder. If there are files in the folder (ie. an upgrade situation), I recommend emptying it first to avoid including old/obsolete files.
- Build using the "Release" configuration, with "x64" as the platform.
