General question: is this version of the font down-rev compatible with (applications still on) SMuFL 1.3 or is SMuFL 1.4 (Beta) needed to work with it?

Yes, there's nothing that I can think of in SMuFL 1.4 that should have a significant impact on backwards compatibility, with the exception of the fix to the direction of the arpeggiatoDownArrow and arpeggiatoDownSwash glyphs to make them rotate in the same direction as the arpeggiatoUpArrow and arpeggiatoUpSwash glyphs.

Thanks! (MuseScore uses wiggleArpeggiatoUpArrow only and turns it upside down if needed, possibly or maybe partly because of that problem, so isn't affected by that change at all)
