Makes debugging much easier.
This is undocumented and unexpected behavior. It's helpful when the user has just a single schema to use that schema as the public schema as it makes generated names shorter. Since Postgres treats 'public' as the default schema when no schema is provided, we can leverage 'public' as a default as well when there is more than 1 schema.
