Description
This PR adds a new CNN class in the
cnn.pyfile to handle the MNIST dataset. The CNN class is implemented using PyTorch and includes convolutional layers, pooling layers, and fully connected layers. Additionally, atrain_cnnfunction is defined to train the CNN on the MNIST data.Summary of Changes
src/cnn.pyto contain the CNN class and thetrain_cnnfunction.cnn.py.CNNincnn.pythat inherits fromtorch.nn.Module.__init__method in theCNNclass to define the layers of the CNN.forwardmethod in theCNNclass to perform the forward pass of the CNN.train_cnnfunction incnn.pyto train the CNN on the MNIST data.train_cnnfunction.CNNclass and thetrain_cnnfunction insrc/main.py.CNNclass inmain.pyafter loading and preprocessing the MNIST data.train_cnnfunction with the CNN instance, DataLoader instance, and number of epochs inmain.py.Please review and merge this PR to incorporate the new CNN class for handling the MNIST dataset.
