Given how the internet works now, wouldn’t the hash be a more expected sigil? #life #benevolence

Using a # is a little more complicated because sometimes numbers are prefixed by it, and not everyone can agree on whether or not that should be matched. Especially when using a tool that auto-populates suggestions based on prior usage, this can become overwhelming.

Of course, adding periods in front of text is also strange and less noticeable. Is the goal to not be noticed? If so, this works, but then.. what's the point?
