I assume this breaks rails 2.x.x support?

Is there a reason you're not using the :file delivery method in rails 3?

I guess so, yes. Hence the branch :-)

Could not find out how to configure it to act like inaction_mailer; it appends to the same output file instead of creating a new file, as far as I remember.

I've never played with :file myself, but that sounds like it sucks. Shame. I should look into making https://github.com/cwninja/popthis capable of parsing that kind of file.

I'll look into making the gem support both out of the box in the future.

That would be awesome :D Would make inaction_mailer obsolete, at least for us.

There is nothing I like more, than making my own code obsolete. I've got chills just thinking about it ;)
