Developed a fully functional Draughts game using Java for game logic and mechanics, Java Swing for the GUI, and SQL for managing database interactions to store user scores. Additionally, implemented email verification using the JavaMail API with secure SMTP configuration.
This was a project that I made as part of my A level computer Science Nea, I got half Marks for this. The exam board was AQA. My inspiration was that I wanted to make a revision tool for my A level course however the ones that are out there require payment. I wanted to make an open source revision tool so everyone can have access to it.
