  • Phase II - MVP Plus

    Phase II of the Umee Network describes the MVP architecture plus the additional abilities to create meTokens(staking derivatives). 1. ATOM tokens received via IBC from the Cosmos Hub to Umee will be considered Umee_ATOMS 2. Umee Module is able to pool the received Umee_ATOMS 3. Deposit Umee_ATOMS and mint meTokens(staking derivatives) 3. Umee validators manage a Cosmos address that can be used to stake and delegate ATOMS 4. Umee_ATOMS are transferred back to Cosmos to be staked and delegated via the Umee validators onto the Cosmos Hub (validators are selected base on Umee governance). 6. Send the meTokens via Gravity Bridge to Ethereum 7. Mint the ERC20_meTokens as ERC 20 or ERC 20 compatible versions on Ethereum 8. Lock the original meTokens on the Umee Cosmos side (user can burn the ERC 20 meTokens and unlock the original meTokens on the Cosmos side).

Send IBC-wrapped ATOM tokens via the Gravity Bridge to Ethereum 3. Mint ATOM tokens on the Ethereum network 4. Lock the ATOM tokens sent from Umee on the Ethereum network
