What I do at Percona:
- Fix customer bugs which involves identification of the root cause and delivering a long term permanent solution in all affected versions without causing regressions.
- Analysis, Design, Coding and Unit testing of the code changes.
- Handle customer escalations and provide complete fix at the earliest.
- Ensure merging of fixes in all future releases.
- Conduct peer code reviews for new features and bug fixes.
- Perform functional testing through MTR tests.
